It can be helpful to list the team's practice policies on your website.
Practice policies can include things like:
- Basic rules ("be on time" etc)
- How each practice group is determined
- Weather policies
- Swimmers' code of conduct, etc.
Practice Policy 2022
Swim Team members need to check in & out of the pool when attending practice per Cary Park Swim Club policy. All
swimmers should have goggles for all practices and girls (and boys with
long hair) should be wearing caps. Swimmers should arrive for practice
at least 5 minutes early so they are ready to begin practice promptly.
Swimmers are encouraged to attend at least 3 practices per week to
maximize their progress.
Swimmers, ages 12 and under, or who otherwise are not skilled swimmers, MUST have a parent or other responsible designee present at Cary Park Swim Club during his/her practice sessions. You cannot drop off your 12&U swimmer at practice and leave. You or some other responsible adult (friend or family) must be present and designated to be responsible for your child at all times.The Wade/Slide Pool and surrounding enclosed area is CLOSED to the public during practices sessions when the entire Cary Park Swim Club is not open to the entire general community. Furthermore, all Cary Park Swim Club gates shall remain CLOSED when the Cary Park Swim Club is not open to the entire general community. You must fob in and out of practice.
