Cary City Meet Attendees - Volunteers Required
IMPORTANT INFO FOR ALL CARY CITY ATTENDEES
In order to make the event a fun and memorable experience for the OVER 1,000 swimmers participating, the organizers are looking for nearly 150 volunteers. Volunteer assignments were made based on the number of registered swimmers per team, and efforts were made to distribute responsibilities among all teams.
Volunteering at the Cary City Meet is outside of the CPSD '12 point requirement'. If your family has a sea dragon swimming at the meet, you are required to volunteer.
With the exception of Stroke and Turn, all of the jobs have 2x the required number of volunteers so we can trade off at the halfway point of the meet. Volunteers, please coordinate handoffs around the midway point amongst yourselves.
All volunteers, including those splitting assignments in shifts must attend all the appropriate volunteer meetings at the beginning of the meet.

Session 1 meetings will start promptly at 7:30AM (morning session)
Session 2 meetings will start promptly at 1:30PM (afternoon session)
Volunteer Meeting locations:
- Stroke & Turn - will meet between men's and women's restrooms at the front of the club
- Timers and Runners - will meet near the starting system/Lane 1
- Kid Pushers - will meet at the deep end of the pool
Check in at the Cary Park Tent before the volunteer meeting to collect your lanyards.
