Greetings Cary Park Sea Dragon (CPSD) Families!

We hope your holiday season is off to a great start! The CPSD Board of Directors (BOD) has important information about the upcoming 2024 swim season to share!

OPEN BOARD POSITIONS:

• The CPSD swim team is managed and organized by talented parent volunteers!
• The current BOD is excited to kick off the new swim season but needs your participation!
• For a successful 2024 season, VITAL open BOD positions still need to be filled.
• Critical positions that need to be filled immediately:
  • TSA Representative
    • A second TSA Representative is needed to work with our current TSA Representative (shared responsibilities).
    • Off-Season Responsibilities: Liaise with the TSA governing body, including attend monthly TSA meetings and vote as the CPSD representative.
    • In-Season Responsibilities: Communicate with opposing team’s TSA representative regarding meet logistics, and represent CPDS during meets if there are concerns or changes which occur in real time.
  • VP Social & Social Associate
    • Plan, organize, and lead fun activities that support team building and foster CPSD community development.
• A group of enthusiastic BOD members will welcome and mentor you:

COACH APPLICATIONS:

• CPSD Swim Team is currently accepting applications for Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and Junior Volunteer Coach positions.

UPCOMING 2024 REGISTRATIONS:

1. 2024 Cary Park Sea Dragons Swim Team: Registration will be coming in the New Year and available on the Swimtopia website. More details coming soon!

2. 2024 Cary Park Swim Club: All CPSD swim team families must be registered members of the Cary Park Swim Club. A separate 2024 registration and fee are required. Information updates about registration and fees from Cary Park Swim Club will become available and updated on their website.
